Terms of Use
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of https://thedentalpracticemarket.com and everything on it (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. We may update these terms; the date above tells you when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.
Informational only — this is not advice
The Service is a free index of publicly listed dental practices and general industry education. Nothing on it is financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, or clinical advice, and nothing on it is an appraisal, an opinion of value, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or price any practice. Each listing's asking price is the listing broker's alone — we display it as published and take no position on it. Using the Service creates no professional, fiduciary, agency, or broker-client relationship of any kind. Before acting on anything here, engage licensed professionals — a broker, a dental CPA, a dental attorney, a lender — who can look at your actual situation.
Listings and directories
Listings are compiled from publicly available information published by licensed brokerages, are anonymized, and can be stale or incomplete. The listing broker is the source of truth for every practice — verify everything with them. Inclusion of any broker or listing is not an endorsement, and exclusion means nothing either; we charge nothing and accept nothing for placement. If you are a broker and want a listing corrected or removed, email privacy@thedentalpracticemarket.com and it will be handled promptly.
The AI features
Parts of the Service are powered by artificial intelligence, including Elyse, the buyer assistant, and the AI host that participates in the Rooms. AI output is generated automatically, can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and is not reviewed by a human before you see it. It is not advice and must not be relied on as the basis for any transaction or decision. Do not submit confidential, privileged, or patient-identifying information to the AI features.
Content you post
The Rooms let you publish messages. You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content on the Service for the purpose of operating it — nothing more. You are responsible for what you post. The full posting rules live in the Content & Posting Policy, which is part of these terms. We may remove content or block posting access at our discretion, with or without notice, and we do not endorse user content. You can ask us to take your content down at any time.
Acceptable use
- Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, obscene, discriminatory, or fraudulent.
- Do not post patient-identifying information or protected health information.
- Do not misrepresent who you are; if you post with a commercial interest, disclose it.
- Do not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or resell Service content, and do not use it to build a competing dataset.
- Do not attempt to breach, overload, probe, or circumvent the Service's security or rate limits, and do not use automated tools to submit forms or post messages.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed one hundred dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions, reports, and takedown requests: privacy@thedentalpracticemarket.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Content & Posting Policy.
